GRACE Checklist & Principles

GRACE Checklist

The GRACE Checklist is designed to guide the assessment of observational studies of comparative effectiveness in terms of their quality and usefulness for decision-making.

Developed from review of published literature and tested by hundreds of volunteers from around the world, the GRACE Checklist provides a validated tool for screening the quality of observational comparative effectiveness studies.

GRACE Principles

Designed as a set of high-level questions, the GRACE Principles lay out the elements of good practice for the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of observational CER studies.

The GRACE principles are endorsed by the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and supported by a number of professionals and organizations.
